Pantry app

The pantry app that keeps itself up to date.

Most pantry apps turn you into the bookkeeper. My Kitchen Host does the bookkeeping for you: add food by photo or voice, and it tracks what you have, notices what’s probably finished and builds the shopping list.

Fresh ingredients laid out on a kitchen counter

How the pantry works

Snap a receipt or say it out loud

Photograph a receipt or groceries, or tap the mic and say “we bought two litres of milk and used the last of the rice”. Items land on the right shelf, and brand switches merge with what you already have.

Six shelves that sort themselves

Perishables, Pantry, Freezer, Spices, Household and the Drinks Cellar, with instant search across all of them and expiry badges on fresh food.

Quick Check instead of stock-takes

The app learns how fast your family uses each item. When something is probably finished, a one-tap card asks: Gone, Gone and restock, or Still have.

Spices and staples are protected

A pinch of cinnamon never wipes out the jar, and a single jar of cumin isn’t flagged as running low.

Shopping list that writes itself

Finished items, missing recipe ingredients and predicted run-outs go to Restock. Ticked-off purchases clear from the list when you add them.

Everyone sees the same pantry

Changes made on one phone show up straight away on every family device, including the kitchen iPad.

Pantry app questions

Do I have to scan barcodes?

No. You add food by receipt or grocery photo, voice, or typing. There is no barcode scanning.

Can the whole family use it?

Yes. Each household has its own private kitchen that every member can join and update.

Is it free?

Yes. Every household gets 75 AI actions each month, such as a photo scan or voice update.

Does it connect to meal planning?

Yes. The meal calendar checks your pantry, and when you mark a meal as cooked you choose which ingredients to take out of stock.

Stop counting tins. Start cooking.
